"We won an award in the Bodjam Global Game Hackathon, earning a prize of 10,000 Turkish Liras for our group's work.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the files for the game called "Bengi," but I have provided below the only evidence I have, which is the photos.

At the event, we were tasked with developing a game in the platformer genre, set in a futuristic theme, and specifically related to the centennial anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. In our game, I took care of Game Design, Unity Development and Level Design while others in our group handled tasks such as drawing. We aimed to explore the imaginary world of a child who lost their life in war at a young age, portrayed as a ghost. We created the drawings, music, and mechanics ourselves.

The central mechanic of the game revolves around the ghost character remaining undetected by other entities. Our ghost can enter and control people and objects in the world, such as a Hoverboard or Drone. This ability creates both an enjoyable and strategic experience within the game.

The ghost can take control of a drone to explode enemies when necessary, place flying hoverboards in the right locations to create additional platforms, and at times, possess a character named Brawler to break walls and defeat enemies below.

With only 48 hours to develop our game, the event provided me with great insight into teamwork and how many energy drinks one can consume in a day. The prize we won in the competition has been a significant source of motivation for me.
